We were delighted to welcome over 500 people to our fifth Wool Market. You can see from the pictures below that the market was buzzing. We asked people what they liked best and comments included “The wooliness” “Browsing and chatting! Variety!” “The stalls and atmosphere.” “Café just wonderful this year.” “Yarn swap is a great idea.”
Customers had previously asked for even more stalls selling supplies. We love a challenge - especially if it involves us in going to lots of yarn shows to find new stalls. So, as well as welcoming back many popular stalls from previous years, we had some great new ones selling yarns, fibre and lots of other things you can use to make wonderful projects. Fox Eats Fibre
A one-woman business, Fox Eats Fibre specialises in small batches of unique, vibrant, hand-dyed yarn and fibre, often inspired by the Cornish countryside and the seasons. They also sell dip-dyed macrame pot holders and accessories and woven fibre art.

I am an avid spinner, dyer, knitter, designer and I have kept rare breed coloured sheep and design one-off garments using British sheep wools and naturally dyed wools.

Painters
Painters is an art and craft materials shop in Fore Street, Liskeard and well worth a visit when you're in town for the Wool Market. Their stall will feature acid dyes (for wool and silk), hand dyed yarns and threads, fabric, and felting supplies.
Pipps & Co
A specialist shop in Cornwall for fibre fanatics, with probably the widest range of tops this side of the Tamar. Retailer of Ashford wheels and looms and Valkyrie combs.
Our range includes over 50 combed tops (dyed Merino, various sheep breeds, plant & luxury fibres), Colourcraft dyes, Ashford equipment and Valkyrie combs. We have wool by West Yorkshire Spinners and Jamieson & Smith Shetland as well as undyed yarn. New lines are still being added.
Rosies Moments
Rosie specialises in hand-dyed, luxury yarns and fibres at affordable prices. She has gifts for spinning, knitting and crochet including the popular sockers ruler, crochet blocking boards and gift-a-balls, project bags, needle gauges, gradient cakes, patterns, sock kits and lots more.
Sampford Alpacas
Sampford Alpacas breed alpacas and will be selling their wonderful fleece in various forms from raw to knitted articles - also balls of yarn both hand and commercially spun. They have clothing and toys made from alpaca yarn.

Twisted fibres is owned by Becky Scott. She offers her own signature hand dyed fibres to use in felting, spinning and textiles .
Her selection of hand dyed wool incoporates a wide selection of fibres such as Corridale , Isle De France, Shetland, Jacobs, Merino, Teeswater , Leciester Longwool and Masham natural and dyed wool curls.
Her Wool Therapy kits can be created to the customers choice in any colourway and fibres. She also makes up handspun and hand woven clothing and some lovely felted items
West Country Creative
Jo makes make buttons, shawl pins, and other decorative accessories using polymer clay – add the perfect embellishment to your wool and fibre projects! Commissions undertaken – if you can’t find what you’re looking for, have something made to match.
She also teaches a range of workshops using either polymer clay or Precious Metal Clay, Silver.
